10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

They say crime don’t pay
I just made a million
And I did it my way
It’s all started with clay
A young cat from uptown
Having a bad day
More like a bad month
Late bills, rent due
A real slump
All it took was some enticement
Planted a seed in mind
Took hold right quick
It grew real blunt
Just take a bit
They won’t notice at all
Shove some in your pocket
Let someone else take the fall
See I had him do a some stealing
Put some money in his pocket
Financial healing
Made him feel he had to do it
No money to pay the rent
Would leave him all blue
And that’s where I’d come in
Slither like a serpent
Leave him without conviction
Even though He don’t deserve it
Don’t blame me it’s my job
To keep the lost hurting
Of salvation I like to rob
Glad to say it was successful
Yes I know he dont’ deserve it
He has me and not Christ
So there is no distress call
He was evicted
Lost his job and he will be in jail soon
Well great talking to you
But I’m out for the next one
Gotta get ’em before you
A million and one
Soon to come
